Creating an Assignment

First, select the class you want to create the assignment in from the Classes drop-down.  If you only have one class in your account it will already be selected.  

Next, select Create Class Assignment from the Class Menu drop-down.

Or you can select Create Assignment from the Assignment menu.

This will take you to the Assignment Edit/Create window.

1. Set the Assignment Name and Description in this area
2. Assignment Weight - can be set in two different ways and will be discussed in more detail below in another article.
3. This is where you can set the Grade Template and Integrity Template for the assignment which will be discussed in other articles in this knowledge base.
4. The Assignment Dates in this section affect when an assignment is visible, starts, due, ends, along with several other dates and features that will be discussed in greater detail in another article.
5. This is the area where you select your Books and Chapters to select problems for your assignment.  This will be discussed in greater detail in another article.
