As of December 2024, a new feature has been added to the Content Management page to improve visibility into grade preference settings. In addition to seeing the name of the grade preference template applied to an assignment, you can now click a link to view the template’s settings directly.
This enhancement is especially helpful for instructors who want a quick reference to the grading setup applied to their assignments. More importantly, it benefits instructors who are using assignments that were copied from another instructor’s class. Previously, there was no way to view the applied grade template settings in these cases.
The View Grade Preference Template feature provides read-only access to the template settings for anyone with assignment access (Instructor or TA). Please note: only the owning instructor can edit the template settings. However, being able to view the configuration allows other instructors to create or edit their own templates based on what they see, applying similar settings as needed.
