This feature allows you to adjust the dates and/or times of multiple assignments at the same time.

Accessing the Batch Date/Time Update Feature:

  • First, select the class you want to update from the Classes drop-down on the Class Management screen.
  • Next, select Batch Date/Time Update from the Class Menu drop-down.
  • Next, you will see the Batch Date/Time Update screen.

Using the Batch Date/Time Update feature:

  1. Select the assignment or assignments you want to update by checking the box next to the assignment name.  To select all assignments select the checkbox next to Assignment in the header row.
  2. Select which dates you want to update.  You can update all date fields at once or individually.
  3. Select the timeframe to update by typing a number in the field or using the up and down arrows.  Negative numbers allow you to go backward in time.  The Weeks range is from -104 to 104.  The Days range is -365 to 365.  The Hours and Minutes range is -60 to 60.
  4. After you select the timeframe(s) to be updated, click on the Update button to update the assignment dates or click Cancel to return to the Class Management screen.
  5. After clicking on the Update button, a notification message will pop up with an acknowledgment message.  Click on the checkbox to acknowledge the message and that enables the Update button.  Click the Update button to continue or click the Cancel button to exit without updating.
  6. After clicking Update, you will see another pop-up message advising if the update was successful. Click OK to go back to the Batch Date/Time Update screen.
    • Example 1 - HW4 was moved forward 22 weeks, 5 days, and 30 minutes for all available date selections except the Publish Until date.
    • Example 2 - HW4 was moved backward 5 weeks, 5 days, and 30 minutes for all available date selections except the Publish Until date.
  7. When you are finished making date/time updates, click the Cancel button or click Class Management in the upper left-hand corner to return to the Class Management screen.
